Moroccan music demonstration/workshop for all ages with Hassan Hakmoun», (photo, left) Museum of International Folk Art auditorium.

The pentatonic driving rhythms of the sintir, a three-stringed long-necked African bass lute, are instantly appealing, and Hakmoun, has succeeded in presenting this music outside of Morocco to widespread critical acclaim.

All ages and skill levels welcome, comfortable clothing and shoes recommended!
