The public is cordially invited to celebrate the Lunar New Year, the year of the rooster. Vietnamese Lion Dance Parade at 1 and 3:30 PM Taiko Drumming at 2:30PM Make origami daruma receive kakizome- an auspicious New Year calligraphy Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Sacred Realm: Blessings and Good Fortune Across Asia.
Enjoy a Pueblo basket weaving demonstration with Carlos Hererra, Cochiti Pueblo as part of the opening of Lloyd’s Treasure Chest. Reception hosted by the Women’s Board of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation. Free admission for everyone is Sponsored by the Cotsen Family Foundation.
