ASL INTERPRETATION
We provide ASL interpretation for most of our public programs, please visit our Events page for specific details.
Docent tours with ASL interpretation are available by request. Please confirm ASL interpretation needs with at least 3 days of advance notice to Patricia Sigala at: patricia.sigala@dca.nm.gov .
PARKING AND ENTRANCE
Designated accessible parking spaces are available in the visitor lot off of Camino Lejo. The accessible route of access from the parking area to the museum entrance includes an elevator for transport between the parking level and the elevated plaza level.
SERVICE ANIMALS
Dogs and other animals which qualify as Service Animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act are welcome at the Museum of International Folk Art and are exempt from fees.
Under the New Mexico Service Animal Act of 2013, Emotional Support Animals and pets are not considered service animals. Emotional Support Animals and pets are not permitted on Milner Plaza or at the Museum of International Folk Art.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
A limited number of wheelchairs and motorized scooters are available for use by guests within the museum. Please inquire at the front desk upon your arrival or call 505-476-1204 in advance.
All but one of the museum’s galleries and event spaces are on the ground level. The Lloyd’s Treasure Chest gallery is on the lower level, accessible by elevator from the Neutrogena Wing lobby.

The museum is working to implement digital accessibility standards for the usability of its website by all people with disabilities. These efforts are ongoing.
